Star Trek

This time we are going to do two profiles at once. The first is Lieutenant Geordi La Forge. He's been blind since birth, but sees through the use of the VISOR (Visual Instrument and Sensory Organ Replacement)he wears over his eyes. He works in Engineering as the Chief Engineer.




Next is the first officer, Commander William Riker, who the captain calls, "Number 1". In the end he marries Deanna Troi and becomes the captain of another ship. He is strong willed, and doesn't give up easily. He usually leads the "away teams" and when the captain is gone, he is in charge of the ship.

In Memory Of Robin Hood

A few days ago we found a baby robin that had fallen out of it's nest in the storm. We named it Robin Hood. It couldn't fly at all. We didn't know if the mother would take care of it or not so we didn't touch it, but we fed it worms. This morning we found it had died. I don't know how. My sister is inconsolable. Here are some pictures I took of him. They aren't very good quality but sadly, I wasn't able to take any more.
